Pregnancy Crisis Centre
The Centre is co-ordinated by Corine and staffed by our trained advisers.
The centre offers a walk-in service for:
Pregnancy tests
Information on all options available to women
Ways to referral agencies
Baby equipment
After-care support
The Centre is open on Wednesday from 12.00-1.00pm without the need for prior appointment. Appointments can be made at other times through contacting the centre on 07806 612 810. All enquiries are treated confidentially. All of these services are FREE.
Since the Centre opened in August 1999, over 600 people have received help in various ways. The Centre is affiliated to Careconfidential (www.careconfidential.com), a national Christian organisation that has over 150 centres in the UK. The counsellors at the Centre are trained with CARE training programmes, so that there is a uniformity of standards throughout the organisation.
Appointments are also available to anyone needing Miscarriage or Post Abortion counselling or Adoption support. These services are also FREE.
