Silver/Gold/Diamond 11:21 is for year 9+.
cell: Tuesday: 7.30pm (or earlier) -10.00pmThose who are not at More than Music chill out in the 11:21 Lounge before welcome all come together at 8.15pm. Between then an 9.45pm we split into small groups, which are geared up for where you are at on your spiritual journey, and a time of reflection, worship and ministry.
More than Music: Tuesday: 7.00pm-8.00pm fortnightly
Our whole lives are worship but this part is to do with playing instruments and singing – but more than that: actually working together as a band with the aim of helping the rest of the youth bring their worship to Him.
Sub-zero: Friday: 8.00pm-10.00pm (approx)
This is serious chill time. Sometimes we grab a video and watch it on our massive screen and other times we play on the PS2 or just hang out at the end of a busy week.
Church Celebration: Sunday: 10.30am-12.15pm
We join with the rest of the church, which includes about 150 adults and children, to find out what is happening with the rest of the church, worship together, hear from God’s word and be challenged by it. Very often we’ll hang out for the afternoon.
2009 saw the start of Encounter, which a town-wide youth event that is run about once a month. It is a chance for the young people of the town to come together and meet other young people who are part of other churches.
There is a time of worship, icebreakers, video sound bites, and a quality speaker. We finish the evening with hot chocolate, donuts and other goodies. It usually starts at 7.30pm and ends around 10.00pm.
The event is hosted by three of the churches: Coton Green Church, Tamworth Baptist Church and our very own Tamworth Elim Church.
And, of course, all of this is free (well, it is paid for by the churches of Tamworth – thank you!)
