The Parent and Toddler group meets in the Church Day Centre on Tuesday mornings during term time, between 10.00am and 11.30am. In the summer, the children enjoy using the Manna House garden, if it isn't raining, or too hot!
The group is made up of about 15 carers with their children ranging from birth to about 4. We start with a time of all-age open play, with dressing up, books, puzzles, cars, kitchen and baby toys, and we have a craft table. After tidying away the toys we have a time of singing nursery rhymes followed by drinks.
Newcomers are welcome to just turn up on a Tuesday. The cost is only £1.00 for the first child with other children from the same family being free. We try to organise a social event for the parents/carers once a term and we celebrate the children's birthdays and have a party at Christmas.
