Sundays

The church meets together every Sunday at 10.30am to celebrate the goodness and love of God. There is strong emphasis on Spirit-led worship and relevant Bible teaching. The worship band comprises members of the church both young and not-so-young. In our worship we seek to praise and honour God in the language and style of today whilst holding to the eternal truths of God's unchanging faithfulness and grace for all of time.

The children and youth remain in the main meeting for about 30 minutes before they leave to enjoy their age-relevant KidsZone (age 3+) and 11:21 Sunday (up to school year 8). They return at the end of the service, or at least in time for the refreshments (they are normally first to the biscuits!).

The pastors regularly teach in the morning service, though not exclusively, and have systematically taught through many books of the Bible. The church has many gifted and able speakers that supplement this ministry. DVD recordings of the morning's teaching can usually be obtained immediately after the service, or podcasts can be listened to, or downloaded, from this website later the same day. We celebrate Communion on the second Sunday of every month.

The church has excellent facilities for young families, with a specially designed crèche facility with a glass partition facing into the main auditorium and with sound links. Everyone who has brought young children to a church service knows how difficult it can be to contain their sometimes noisy playfulness. It is our strong desire to cater for the whole family. Each week, after the meeting is concluded, light refreshments are served. This is always a great opportunity to catch up on the week's events or to meet some new friends.

Afternoon service [monthly]

Since early 2006 we have held a monthly “Afternoon Service”, on the 3rd Sunday of each month, meeting from 3.00pm to 4.00pm, followed by a light tea. This is a more traditional style of service and has been well received by especially older members of the church. This service is led by Paul Emmerson (Associate Pastor)
