At Tamworth Elim the church is not primarily the building but rather the people who form this living family of believers. Church is more than Sunday, more than worship songs or prayers and bible study - very important those these all are.
We are committed as a church family to seeking to live all of our lives, every day of the week in ways that are both pleasing and glorifying to God and also demonstrates His love in the way we seek to serve others.
We are a community church who always seek to find ways to serve those in need around us, be they young or old, rich or poor, able bodied or in ill health. Accordingly we have built up a number of projects which address the needs of the community including such things as a Day Nursery which takes children from newborn to school age, toddler group, children's clubs, youth groups for all ages from 11 to 21+, a growing number of mid-week small groups, projects for those who need advice and counsel at times of crisis, and a social club for the elderly living alone.
