Steve Jonathan – Senior Pastor

Steve and his wife Julie, originally from South Wales, have three grown up children, David, Sian (married to Dan) and Andrew. Steve worked in local government until 1984, when he entered full-time Christian ministry, first training at Elim Bible College and then serving in a large city centre church in Cardiff before starting a church on a new housing estate on the outskirts of the city. Steve and Julie moved to Tamworth in 1992. Julie works part-time as a teacher in a local primary school. Steve is presently studying part-time for a doctorate in theology with the University of Wales and also enjoys playing football and squash in his spare time. Both Steve and Julie have a passion for rugby and adore it when Wales beat the old enemy!
 

Paul Emmerson – Associate Pastor

Paul and his wife June have two grown up children, Craig and Ruth and 'emigrated' to Tamworth in 1988 from Newcastle (upon Tyne) as a result of Paul's, then, employment. Paul left the Banking and Insurance industry in 1996 to become the Manna House Centre Manager, and in 2003 was appointed Associate Pastor. June is Head of our Day Nursery. The whole family are passionate supporters of Newcastle and eagerly await the day that they are crowned Premiership Champions!! Paul enjoys playing football on a regular basis  and along with Craig tries to get to as many Newcastle games as possible.
 

Sue Green – Elder

Sue lives in Lichfield with newly retired husband Vic. They have two grown up children, Melanie and Ben and one grandchild, Nathan. Sue works as a History teacher in a local secondary school. Both Sue and Vic enjoy being outdoors and sailing is currently a main hobby, on inland waterways as well as the sea. Sue is a member of the Honda Beat Club, a group of people who enjoy driving ridiculously tiny sports cars.A member of Tamworth Elim since 1997 Sue leads a prayer cell group. 


Martin Wild – Elder

Martin and wife Sue met at college and married in 1970. They have two grown up daughters, Lizzy (married to Tim) and Katherine (married to Jamie). Martin and Sue are grandparents to three wonderful grandchildren. Martin retired from a lifetime's career working in IT in the hospitality industry in 1999, since when he has founded an internet based software business with his brother, as well as working for charities who seek to improve care for the elderly. Martin became a Christian in 1997, and serves both as a church elder and as Company Secretary to our Charitable Company. Martin's particular passion is as a story-teller in both church and non-church settings. 

Tim Rawlings – Elder

Tim is married to Debbie and they have three children, Nathan, Joshua and Kristopher. Tim works as a Coal Process Manager at a nearby colliery and Debbie works part time as a Wages Clerk at a town centre accountants. Tim serves as a cell group leader and is also part of the media team and Debbie sings and plays violin in the worship group (though not at the same time!).
